never been there
Eh... My folks gave me shit about it, being a blue state and blah de blah... and then I get here and taxes are all whack and I actually start paying attention to politics and I have a bit of an awakening and good god... I'm glad I didn't go into NYC.
yep
It's not too bad up here, away from the city.
I got into politics because butte.
and butte is well... butte
montana votes red
butte is blue
I got stuck there overnight waiting for a Greyhound. Been through a few more times on some trips. All I really know of it is that it's hard to find a 2-liter of Mountain Dew at 3am.
butte? try the safeway on excelsior avenue.
I think
kek
if you ever find yourself there again I guess
Well thanks for the advice. I'll try to commit it to memory for if I somehow Mothman my way into Butte in the future.
I mean if you are from idaho you probably will return some day, family and all.
"How did I get here? I dunno, but someone told me I could get Mtn. Dew at Safeway"
kek
my brothers and I priced out mountain dew by volume
and the 2 liters are the best
safeway in butte will have them, but it's also good in whitehall (just across the pass on highway I-90)
it's kinda interesting how butte is so polluted, but just across the mountains 20 miles away is pristine
I work in a supermarket. People buy THE FUCK out of the six pack bottles when they go on the buy-2-get-3-free special. I forget what size the bottles are, but the 2-liters at 4 for $5 is still a better deal. Shits crazy.
huh
dew is life
OH MAN
I forgot about that...
Caffeine makes the world go round
Still makes me laugh like I'm fuckin' 12.
There's an anaconda next to your butte
kek
it was named after the anaconda copper company, which basically owned the town in the late 1800's early 1900's.
butte had the mines
anaconda had the giant smelters
But even from that pic, I can tell that it's become the populous center, thus why it's turned blue, I'm sure. You see that same grey blight in most major cities.
(for any lurkers butte was a gigantic mining town that puts any other mining town to shame with the sheer volume of ore)
butte has been blue for 100 years
because of the history there
That reminds me, I've got Factorio in the background that I've been ignoring.
