konosuba is a good deconstruction of isekai, protag is an absolute letch and a lazy bastard, gets beatun up quite often and just barely wins through luck and tricking other people to be stupider than him

main cast are absolute assholes

konosuba's protag also actually dies multiple times, where the gods straight up resurrect him saying "try not to die stupidly next time"

in konosuba theres actually a wonderful "obstacle"
protag drags a goddess with him to alternate world, in order for her to get back she must help him defeat the final boss
but they end up having a decent enough living condition in the altenate world where they contemplate whether its worth the risk going against the final boss or to just live their new lives as is

im gonna be moderately disappointed

the goddess is one of the main fuckin obstacles
