Nice, man. Heard good things about M&P 15s. Personally hate those handguards but I guess if you have AFG it isn't really relevant, right? How does gripping it that far back affect you? Normally I grip right at muzzle, about an inch back

@Riefen the AFG is definitely an improvement. Holding it closer to the muzzle offers more control but with the AFG you get the same control but closer to the rear. Haven't had a single issue with my M&P. It's a solid gun for a solid price.
