What does it refer to?

Close enough.

It's composed of 1 vertical axes-the up down rays and 2 Y-shaped signs which are twisted to the left and to the right.

It has a lot of meaning.

Actually I have been studying it for years and still can't decode them all.

To be more precise-a dream I had bout 9 years ago.

As I was sleeping I saw the star and immediately recognized the outlie.

However, decoding what the outlie stands for is another trick.

Very very very very complicated one.

Still toiling in on it thou.

I just know

if it does -they are doomed.

But, it's increadibly complex actually decoding it's meaning. It's a simple figure, but understanding what it stands for, well, it's another story.

The I is for the internal conflicts of the human beeing-standing in the real world, but bound by rules and karma, or leaving our plane of existence into the higher realms, but then you risk losing contact with reality,

this is the realism vs. absolutism debate.

No human mind, neither individual, nor collective can solve it

cause tehre is no solution to this paradox.

Any solution is just contemporary and it depends on the timing and the place.

These are what I call it's philosophical foundations.

In reality it means neither trying to stay the ultimate realist, nor letting your heart and soul be consumed by a divine power.

Divine power of either kind-I'm not referring to any particular religion here.
