Ah, yeah, that.
damn that's a tall order
I used to have dreams where flying was no issue whatsoever. But over the past decade or so, they've more often been hop-gliding dreams.
but I guess personal flight is too
Hell yeah.
I'd give anything to be able to fly.
I had exactly ONE Lucid Nightmare
Ugh, sounds bad.
most rare kind as far as I can tell
I have plenty of false awakening dreams too
I could count the number of nightmares I've ever had on, like, two or three fingers.
most of my false awakening dreams involve me going to school or work, mostly work, im 29
sometimes im trying to come home
The most recent was this year, but calling that a nightmare would be quite generous. It was more like an unsettlingly dark dream.
I'm 39.
that one lucid nightmare was just a regular nightmare until I obviously realized I was dreaming
so I tried my best to imagine some heavy weapons and start shooting back at the raptors chasing me through the commieblocks
ooo
Yeah, I've never been able to actively change my dreams, to my knowledge.
oh yeah
most of them involve harnessing lightning
Usually the only time I can do that is during that special time of morning, when you're still half asleep and the dream is continuing in your semiconscious mind.
staring with intent at distant objects only for them to get struck by freaky lightning
the thunder from those still spook the fuck out of me
Jedi powers.
If I fight in a dream, it's usually something not unlike that.
I can dream at any hour soo long as the sleep is restful
although
Yeah, same.
I've had periods of 2 to 3 years in my early 20's with zero dreams of any kind
then a bout of nightmares
In most dreams, I'm not myself. Rather, I'm some sort of character in a story.
then a bout of lucid dreams
I'm always myself in mine
Of course, I've legitimately had moments in dreams that inspire plot points in stories I'm writing.
this one person had sound advice
get a giant piece of paper with your living area/city/state/continent
and start mapping your dreams
ofcourse
