Diversity = in group / outgroup animosity....no way around it. It's not desirable

Diversity is desirable in many ways. What isn't desirable is forced diversity and diversifying fields that are meant to work it out themselves

That depends on what kind of people we are talking about

You cannot tell me that diversity in any of these fields, if not forced, is not desirable
