Sure
Oh no I cannot pay it back
nice job retard
Just pulling your ends back to something more realistic rather than deliberately hyberbolic
No need to be hyperbolic, the facts stand by themselves
People don't understand interest and basic economies of scale, but hey, high school no longer teaches it so that might not be the persons fault
All High School teaches is the "Necessity" Of higher learning, while omitting that fact
I did econ is high school and it was actually really enjoyable
It may not be their "fault", but it is their responsibility.
It is elective though
I worked 20 hours a week while at uni the second time
And then they turn universities into glorified high schools while the fucking boomers who run it ask why this generation won't get out of their NEET lifestyles
Same here, had no problems
goodnyaght everynyan! wearing swords in public should become common once again
Oh God I know exactly what you mean by neet lifestyles
It did affect my work, but still got through it ok
Exactly, it's not some herculean task
It isn't but it is
Remember
Had I saved for a year beforehand, I probably could have got by on 2 4-hour shifts a week
Losers
Exactly, but nobody does that. They jump into school with no scholarships, and no money and expect their english degree to land them a fucking 100k/year job
I resented homework
And the best part?
People are looking for experienced workers, not graduates now
I did it at school during lunch and on the bus on the way home
I hated doing work at home imao
A degree is nice, but 10 years of experience is much better
To be fair, scholarships were rare as hens teeth here both times I went to uni.
Couldn't tell you what now, it's been a long time since
They aren't getting good degrees
They are getting a history degree like PEP and then wondering why they cannot pay their loans back
PeP will be alright, he's gone into finance
I'm talking about in the US
Indeed
Its not as bad in other places
I got my first term basically free thanks to a scholarship I forgot I even applied for
US you have the option of enlisting for 4 years
Don't they then pay for your uni fees?
Service guarantees citizenship
Hm?
