That’s literally all I know about captain marvel. Supermen style characters are not my interest.

He got adapted into the woman scientist in the movie but the two characters don't share anything but a name really

He was Kree and during a whatever Carol got his powers

She was Ms Marvel for decades and when he died she took the title

The movie girl was also kree

there were six Captain Marvels before Carol

Just disguised as a human.

I mean in terms of backstory besides that

but she took the title after the original died

Mar-Vell was a soldier

I don’t get why the skrull were trying to kill people and be bad guys until the last second

Carol is the first MCU Captain Marvel, presumably inspired by Marvell for the name
