What else are they going to do with the dollars? I'm not concerned with real-estate, but I am concerned about their desire to carve out strategic industries, such as in the case of acquisitions in Britain, acquiring a company that both produces and manages communications infrastructure for the government and military. However, we don't have this issue as much as European countries, given we've expanded CFIUS, part of the reason the tech industry saw a drop about a year ago when Trump gave the go ahead. In any case, we simply seize their assets, just as quickly as we rounded up the Japs for internment camps during the war, and not a single investor would bat an eye.
