the freedom index uses 79 different metrics
His, uses 1.
Yes
<:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>
That Index says that a country can be free while not having Free Speech
I disagree
:brainlet:
Go look at page 362 of the index. https://www.cato.org/sites/cato.org/files/human-freedom-index-files/human-freedom-index-2018-revised.pdf
I have already said, I disagree with the Index
That's because you're delusional.
Looking at 362 it doesn't even show Free Speech as a factor
Meaning that it allows a country that has very limited Free Speech like Sweden for instance to rank highly
Because overall Sweden has more personal freedoms than America does
Lmao
<:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
It does have freedom of speech, except it's seperated
They arrest people because of things other people have said on their pages
Into the core concepts
But, you clearly don't understand that do you?
Does that sound free
Yet overall, they're freer

This is exactly why the Freedom Index is wrong
Do you need me to break it down and explain it all to you?
I don't think I've ever gotten more bored watched an argument than I have just now
You seem unable to actually read / understand what the data means in the index..
they've been going round in circles like this for ages king
If you want to say America has the most freedom of speech in the world, that's fine. I don't care about that.
But that, is flat out false.
Again though no country has more
Again, that's fine.
But it still makes your statement here:
You have only named Switzerland which criminalises genocide denial
False.
I don't care about that.
This statement.
Is false.
