Basically what I did and am still doing with the potion brewer
@Timeward Does the server have ExtraUtilities?
Nope, pretty vanilla server
Just a couple plugins
Reading this synopse is making me want to go through Sky Factory again.
oof
Love that Minecraft modpack.
Basically I'm taking a mumbo jumbo design of a super potion brewer and expanding it to be able to create literally every single potion in the game
Mumbo's design is great but light
Only crafts 7 positive potions and their extended/potent/splash variants
What I'm doing is upgrading it to be able to craft all the negative potions as well as well as their lingering variants
The design I built is already an upgrade that it makes 10 recipes instead of 7
I'm upgrading it to make everything.
Do you have to select ingredients individually still, or will the redstone circuit let you choose potions directly?
The redstone circuit has levers for you to choose modifiers (redstone/glowstone, gunpowder, and soon enough fermented spider eye and dragon's breath) and you just press a button to choose the main ingredient
Very practical!
Say you want a lingering potion of instant damage
You flick the gunpowder, fermented eye and dragon breath lever
Then click the spider eye button
There's only two downsides to this design, really
What?
Its a pain in the ass to refill all the ingredients and shit
And its enormous
Lol
Specially with the more options you put in
Welcome to Minecraft redstone creation.
Honestly mods wouldnt change the size of it much
If I had redpower, the only change would be I could make it thinner
It'd still be enormously wide
Depends on the mods.
Because you cant cut down on all the droppers
You need separate droppers for every ingredient
You simply cant cut down the size on that bit
There are several that allow precise redstone signal timing into single blocks.
There are also transport routing mods that do similar for Hoppers.
... its hard to explain why mods wouldnt help shrinking it down without showing it to you.
Screenshot?
But essentially, you'd only shrink it on one axis
Not on the one that really matters
