The word Kafir usually translate as (unbeliever) but this translation is wrong. The word "unbeliever" is logically and emotionally neutral , whereas Kafirs is the most abusive, prejudice and hateful word in any language. The Koran says that the Kafirs maybe deceived, plotted against, hated, enslaved, mocked, tortured and worse.
There are many religious names for Kafirs: Polytheist, idolaters, people of the book (Christians and Jews) Buddhists, Atheists, Agnostics and pagans. Kafirs covers them all, because no matter what religious name is, they can all be treated in the same way.
