i'd bet 90% of battery mods have no controller chip, so they overcharge and become a bomb

maybe not 90%, but a decent amount of them definitely don't, that was an issue with the early PRIV models from Smok

do they come in like some metal casing with an LED indicator or are they usually lithium cells rapped in shrink wrap?

i've done a lot of research into vape shit because i don't like putting things into my body that i don't understand, and from what i've found, it's definitely not 100% safe and good, because putting literally anything into your lungs that isn't clean oxygen is bad for you, but it's better than smoking and doesn't seem to cause any long-term issues that we know of
