man in its natural state may arm itself, speak freely, and many other things. and that leads directly to the philosophical basis for bodily autonomy

2019-11-22 19:54:24 UTC

In fact, I’d say it’s actually rather natural that these freedoms are taken

2019-11-22 19:55:05 UTC

That’s why they needed to make the document bruh

2019-11-22 19:55:26 UTC

man in its natural state, will have a whole and intact body, until such a time as an outside force acts upon it or it acts upon itself to change that.

2019-11-22 19:55:44 UTC

Men are apart of nature themselves

2019-11-22 19:55:50 UTC

Sooo...

2019-11-22 19:56:09 UTC

How is your freedom being taken by another human being, not something that happens in nature by nature. Naturally

2019-11-22 19:56:14 UTC

nature, and natrual state are not the same thing

2019-11-22 19:56:19 UTC

Especially if we see it happen all throughout history and etc.

2019-11-22 19:56:47 UTC

Man in its natural state wars, kills. Takes captives etc.

2019-11-22 19:57:03 UTC

This is why they mention god.

2019-11-22 19:57:16 UTC

It has to be not only something argued that the truth should be self evident

2019-11-22 19:57:28 UTC

But that something beyond anything on this planet. Guarantees this

2019-11-22 19:57:51 UTC

The seal to the deal you could say

2019-11-22 19:58:18 UTC

natural state is a philosophical framework used to idealize the description of a person unaffected by any outside force, including other people or the need orresources.

2019-11-22 19:59:11 UTC

Well I think this philosophical framework has some issues with it. If this natural state doesn’t seem to really exist.

2019-11-22 19:59:28 UTC

its not supposed to exist

2019-11-22 19:59:49 UTC

Oh believing in something that doesn’t exist eh

2019-11-22 19:59:56 UTC

Sounds kinda like idk maybe a god or deity

2019-11-22 20:00:02 UTC

Funny how that works

2019-11-22 20:00:25 UTC

you... do not seem to be understanding.

2019-11-22 20:00:55 UTC

I just have my own thoughts on this framework really

2019-11-22 20:01:28 UTC

The point of the natural state is to outline what a person has before anything outside of it starts to cut away at those things. and to protect them.

2019-11-22 20:01:56 UTC

I don’t see how that discredits what I’ve been saying though.

2019-11-22 20:02:24 UTC

it requires and in fact actively excludes all other humans. anf forces. so all you are looking at is the human itself

2019-11-22 20:02:24 UTC

How it makes the points not poignant. Or not relevant to the discussion

2019-11-22 20:04:05 UTC

what does a human in a vacuum have, and what are they able to do. those things must be held sacred and never interfered upon. it is only when outside forces are introduced that the state must then begin to act.

2019-11-22 20:04:13 UTC

Starve and die

2019-11-22 20:04:22 UTC

That happens in a vacuum too

2019-11-22 20:04:44 UTC

you are not geeing the idea of "no external force"

2019-11-22 20:04:48 UTC

Idk. This all seems a rather new...esoteric view of a human that doesn’t exist

2019-11-22 20:04:55 UTC

Natural state doesn't include how humans interact with each other naturally, just what a human singular is. They have a body and a voice and an instinct for self defense and survival

2019-11-22 20:05:33 UTC

its not about a human that exists. its a thought experiment from which all rights are derived from in western thought.

2019-11-22 20:05:40 UTC

How is hunger an “external force”

2019-11-22 20:06:23 UTC

Right and it’s also paired with god. Church and state are separated yes but church is still meant to be an important factor to this equation

2019-11-22 20:06:44 UTC

you can call it "man in eden" if you wish

2019-11-22 20:06:47 UTC

I mean it says it in the document

2019-11-22 20:06:58 UTC

the same ideas come out of it

2019-11-22 20:07:06 UTC

It’s like yo btw god likes us having guns and shiz so deal with it
