Oof

2019-11-28 16:10:42 UTC

He genuinely believes that he did good selling people broken down cars that needed constant repairs because they were slightly higher quality than the crap that actual poor people have.

2019-11-28 16:11:27 UTC

It was already established he had no morals when you said he was a used car salesman

2019-11-28 16:11:32 UTC

So we were lowkey in permanent debt living paycheck to paycheck because every six months or so, we'd have to put car repairs on the credit card.

2019-11-28 16:11:53 UTC

No, like he's a sweet guy and he genuinely means no harm to anyone. He's a normie.

2019-11-28 16:12:34 UTC

But there's something about him that (chemical or otherwise) makes him completely unable to defend himself. Sometimes his tenants just don't pay rent.

2019-11-28 16:12:39 UTC

Okay, not no morals. Badly thought out morals

2019-11-28 16:12:52 UTC

No, service-based morals.

2019-11-28 16:13:28 UTC

Wait you said his pituitary got burnt out?

2019-11-28 16:13:33 UTC

Eaten.

2019-11-28 16:13:42 UTC

He went blind before the doctors found it.

2019-11-28 16:14:00 UTC

Wasn't he basically still a child then? If he never went through puberty

2019-11-28 16:14:18 UTC

No, it was as an adult.

2019-11-28 16:14:43 UTC

Ah, yeah. That's weird

2019-11-28 16:14:59 UTC

And when they took it out, they pulled out the whole thing and then he could see again because it wasn't putting pressure on his optic nerves anymore.

2019-11-28 16:15:22 UTC

But then he was really tall, because it went haywire and made him huge

2019-11-28 16:15:38 UTC

So he's taller than most jews

2019-11-28 16:16:11 UTC

Like Ari Shaffir tall? Or taller

2019-11-28 16:16:26 UTC

Not giant, maybe 6'4

2019-11-28 16:16:46 UTC

That's pretty tall

2019-11-28 16:17:30 UTC

His doctor's been roping him in for cosmetic treatments to take off all the "cancerous" warts and stuff

2019-11-28 16:17:41 UTC

And we keep telling him that they're stringing him along

2019-11-28 16:17:55 UTC

After losing three family members to malpractice I don't really trust doctors

2019-11-28 16:18:32 UTC

And the dermatologist not being able to tell the difference between ringworm and eczema didn't help my opinion either

2019-11-28 16:18:57 UTC

My family is lucky in that we're family friends with a few doctor families. So we have kind of a multi generational trust

2019-11-28 16:23:43 UTC

We have some doctors at our church, but they live about half an hour away from the church that takes us half an hour to get to, and they're like specialized scrub surgeons or something and not GPs so we have another guy who's more local and I think he's retired.

2019-11-28 16:23:51 UTC

All we've got are "nurses" now

2019-11-28 16:24:05 UTC

as in, college girls who really don't care whether your family lives or dies

2019-11-28 16:24:20 UTC

and will actively lie to you to get out of touching old people and just letting them die

2019-11-28 16:27:20 UTC

Oof, yeah our friends are allot closer. And the hospital is only like 10min. Away from any part of town, most of the gp's are in the medical plaza right next to it.

2019-11-28 16:28:28 UTC

In my town we have a giant hospital on the edge of the city limits, and then all the old little offices right next to the college campus and nursing home.

2019-11-28 16:28:37 UTC

I definitely still trust dentists, though.

2019-11-28 16:29:01 UTC

Their work is very focused, hands-on, and it's pretty much always the same.

2019-11-28 16:29:13 UTC

And they don't push pills.

2019-11-28 16:29:27 UTC

Dentists are getting some pretty good new tech though

2019-11-28 16:29:49 UTC

Visits don't take nearly as long anymore

2019-11-28 16:31:16 UTC

As long as they're not socialized and have actual sedatives on hand, they're pretty solid.

2019-11-28 16:35:09 UTC

I usually just need some lidocaine gel

2019-11-28 16:44:47 UTC

Um, no. Giuliani has repeatedly said he went to Ukraine on his own initiative. Apparently that's the kind of thing a *good* personal lawyer is supposed to do.
