Those that want it to change say 16, a few say 25 that’s mostly it
In ranked voting you don’t have to rank the ones you don’t want to
Ranked voting is how I want elections to be done though
actually if most of the voters are picking 25 as first... then 21 voters will have their second votes moved to either 18 or 25 .. maybe 25 will win actually... in a ranked voting system
Most voters think 18 I gaurantee
Has a poll been done on this I’ll google it
it doesnt really matter what most voters pick as their first rank...
if most picked 18 as their first choice and everyone picked 25 as their second... 25 would win
in a ranked voting system
I’d pick 16 as second
When I google voting age polls I only see stuff about whether it should lower or not
So clearly there’s not much appetite for it to raise
People only want it to raise so labour gets less votes that seems clear to me
And you aren’t thinking loads of younger adults would go out of their way to vote for 18 and 16 so they can still vote in the short term future, a lot of middle aged and older people wouldn’t care

Can I post names or is that going too far?
i don't care what you do, i am just not sure what you are posting
context?
This is a charity that promotes transgenderism to people under 18
Operating in the United Kingdom
I posted links related to the organization in regards to where they get some of their funding
This is their mission statement
>>TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL STRESS OF ALL PERSONS AGED 19 YEARS AND UNDER WHO ARE IN ANY MANNER AFFECTED BY GENDER IDENTITY ISSUES, AND THERE FAMILIES, AND TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE SAME.
specifically who are you pointing out that is funding it? the national lottery?
That is one major source of funding and I think it's important to know who these people actually are
it seems like the national lottery is as quasi governmental institution
You can't win if you don't even know who you are fighting
Do people still play the lottery?
Desperate people and those with gambling problems who throw away their lives a few dollars at a time.
I play when I have a spare £2.00
I buy a scratch card here and there too.
It's just a laugh and you never know, could win. But always gotta know your limit.
£2 week isn't exactly going to hurt
