>isn't even in our hemisphere
Looks like we're gonna have to do some colonizin'

2019-10-31 11:42:59 UTC

It's much cheaper to install solar panels in Africa than to clean up the mess afterwards. A coal power plant would be there for the next 50 years if built. It's irreversible mistake.

2019-10-31 11:43:30 UTC

@Samaritan I don't know if parody but that's Trump level of retardation.

2019-10-31 11:43:59 UTC

He said freon hair spray (which is already banned in Europe for decades but I guess USA is degenerate) is OK because he only uses it indoors.

2019-10-31 11:44:15 UTC

As if fucking Earth hemispheres are separated from each other.

2019-10-31 11:44:37 UTC

Air pollution in Europe isn't going to be affected by smoke stacks in China I live in Australia a lot closer to China and the air here is fine

2019-10-31 11:44:47 UTC

Now you are right that it would be cheaper to avoid then to cleanup

2019-10-31 11:44:52 UTC

Okay. I'm discussing with utter retards.

2019-10-31 11:45:30 UTC

So ocean water circulates via huge currents but the winds don't exist. CO2 in southern hemisphere will stay there forever and what's produced by China stays in China.

2019-10-31 11:46:15 UTC

"Air here is fine". Well, you don't quite understand that CO2 is not related to "air quality". You don't see or smell it. It's not smog.

2019-10-31 11:46:31 UTC

It disperses until a certain concentration and that isn't taking into account it not staying in the atmo and settling

2019-10-31 11:46:53 UTC

The atmosphere is a very big place

2019-10-31 11:47:25 UTC

Polluting it sufficiently is comparable to filling equally a big space devoid of oxygen with oxygen eg fucking hard

2019-10-31 11:47:33 UTC

CO2 doesn't "settle" on the ground.

2019-10-31 11:47:42 UTC

Sure it can be done but it'd take like hundreds of years

2019-10-31 11:47:55 UTC

Carbon would be heavier then air no?

2019-10-31 11:48:09 UTC

Carbon **DIOXIDE** you retard!

2019-10-31 11:48:13 UTC

It's a **GAS**.

2019-10-31 11:48:21 UTC

It's not coal particles you fucking faggot.

2019-10-31 11:48:33 UTC

Well we where talking about burning coal nibba

2019-10-31 11:48:41 UTC

Yeah, gas heavier than N2

2019-10-31 11:48:41 UTC

And filtering it and the such

2019-10-31 11:48:45 UTC

and heavier than O2

2019-10-31 11:48:49 UTC

Burning coal produces CO2, not floating coal particles.

2019-10-31 11:49:19 UTC

@leavethisbotnet Gas heavier than nitrogen still doesn't "settle" on the ground. It will stay in the atmosphere.

2019-10-31 11:49:20 UTC

He's got a point in that CO2 is heavier than majority of our atmosphere

2019-10-31 11:49:40 UTC

It stays towards the bottom of the atmosphere

2019-10-31 11:49:44 UTC

If you argue that CO2 settles in lower atmosphere, that isn't really helpful. It won't settle on the ground.

2019-10-31 11:49:52 UTC

I mean volcanic ash and nuclear ash doesn't settle right away but eventually it does was what I was thinking

2019-10-31 11:49:57 UTC

Also by that logic @leavethisbotnet

2019-10-31 11:50:01 UTC

We're actually going to be fucked sooner

2019-10-31 11:50:02 UTC

Volcanic ash is not same as CO2.

2019-10-31 11:50:24 UTC

Because it'll compile at the bottom while the clean air is above

2019-10-31 11:50:34 UTC

And we'll all asphyxiate and die imao

2019-10-31 11:50:44 UTC

Volcanic ash can be an asshole if if there's enough of it.

2019-10-31 11:51:28 UTC

Afaik most of northern hemisphere basically skipped one summer in the 5th century AD, because of volcanic eruption.

2019-10-31 11:51:29 UTC

Like how high is the atmosphere because if the bottom 10% was a heavier then air non breathable gas we'd all die sine we live at ground level

2019-10-31 11:51:51 UTC

Also from a meta perspective

2019-10-31 11:52:30 UTC

Africa should be able to use as much coal as they like since technology is going so fast I don't think they'll be able to use it for long anyway

2019-10-31 11:52:49 UTC

I mean remember no planes 100 years ago and now we have super sonic jets and space flight

2019-10-31 11:53:09 UTC

The thing with that is, centralized power requires more infrastructure.
