I almost never watch his videos nowadays, but I call that more of a failure of his profession, not him personally

2019-11-26 14:54:49 UTC

He thinks he's going to be accepted by the left by hysterically repeating "I don't like Trump, I don't like Trump, I don't like Trump, I don't like Trump, I don't like Trump, I don't like Trump..."

2019-11-26 14:55:17 UTC

He doesn't do worthwhile commentary or analysis, nor fresh journalism.

2019-11-26 14:55:23 UTC

Journalists not only destroyed their own reputation, but also made it impossible for true journalists to enter the field to do proper journalism

2019-11-26 14:55:31 UTC

The only added commentary is copy-paste from yesterday.

2019-11-26 14:55:49 UTC

So Tim Pool has to worry more about survival than journalism, and I consider his work admirable. He morphed from journalist to go-getter.

2019-11-26 14:56:49 UTC

Also, Tim is still more a journalist than far more than 90% of his peers

2019-11-26 14:57:28 UTC

And when I critique his work ethics, it's from stuff like his arguments against UBI: he says he would stop working if he received UBI. Meaning, he's so lazy that he'd keep the 1000 bucks from UBI and quit receiving all his Hipster Welfare from Patreon and Subscribestar (several thousands).

That or even worse: he'd quit working and leeching of Hipster Welfare while producing nothing at all, until people realize they need to cut patronage as he got lazy.

2019-11-26 14:57:51 UTC

**Arguably** he has already gone lazy, since he stopped journalism and turned into text-to-speech machine.

2019-11-26 14:57:56 UTC

So he's already halfway there.

2019-11-26 14:58:08 UTC

He said that to show that *even he* with his work ethic is capable of turning into a leech under UBI

2019-11-26 14:58:19 UTC

The point was to demonstrate why UBI is shit

2019-11-26 14:59:17 UTC

Would he? I mean, if he can earn 5000 bucks now, and 5000+1000 bucks with UBI, why would he quit his job and lose 5000?

2019-11-26 14:59:41 UTC

Because he didn't truly mean that

2019-11-26 15:00:06 UTC

It's rhetoric, he doesn't always say what he really thinks, in fact he often doesn't say what he really thinks

2019-11-26 15:00:16 UTC

He's playing a game against the establishment

2019-11-26 15:00:41 UTC

He either does not understand that point of UBI is that earning money doesn't substract from UBI (unlike earning money subtracts from food stamps). He didn't understand UBI but argued against it still, with faulty example.

That, or he rather gets 1000 bucks lying on sofa than 6000 bucks working as a text-to-speech machine for YT.

2019-11-26 15:01:42 UTC

I think he was either being uneducated on how UBI works (failure at fact-checking), or he was disingenuous, or financially illiterate (such as a nigger).

2019-11-26 15:01:49 UTC

Well I guess there's the chance that he was uneducated on UBI

2019-11-26 15:02:24 UTC

I would say that seems most likely actually since he covers so many topics every day

2019-11-26 15:02:51 UTC

But I also know that he hides his true opinion regularly

2019-11-26 15:02:55 UTC

So that's also possible

2019-11-26 15:13:31 UTC

What true opinions are he hiding?

2019-11-26 15:13:48 UTC

Does he love Trump after all?

2019-11-26 15:19:50 UTC

He's been praising Trump left and right, he's clearly a secret supporter

2019-11-26 15:21:40 UTC

I may be an armchair psychologist when I say that, so take this with a huge grain of salt, but it seems to me like he even has developed something that is typical for people who are careful not to speak their mind too honestly - he has developed a sort of stutter, not really a stutter but something of that sort

2019-11-26 15:22:10 UTC

I think it's his brain having difficulties when he tries to formulate his thoughts without dropping his mask

2019-11-26 15:23:06 UTC

That's probably just my non-existent bullshit degree in pseudo-psychology though

2019-11-26 15:23:51 UTC

Oh, I much agree with that.

2019-11-26 15:23:54 UTC

I judge people by their actions, and he's been praising Trump

2019-11-26 15:23:59 UTC

So to me he's a supporter

2019-11-26 15:24:37 UTC

I don't think the stutter is general social anxiety because he stuttered zero in live debate with David Pakman. Or was it some other far-lefty, don't remember.

2019-11-26 15:25:34 UTC

Exactly, yes

2019-11-26 15:25:36 UTC

He stutters on pre-recorded videos, where he does that "I don't support Trump, I would never vote Trump, actually I was Sanders supporter, I would still vote Tulsi" rant. It comes of as purely neurotical reaction.

2019-11-26 15:25:41 UTC

I've observed the same thing, he doesn't normally stutter

2019-11-26 15:26:30 UTC

When discussing 100 genders, he states that he's fully aboard with that but he just wants help so he can follow the rules. And it doesn't even come off as satire. The guy is a **mental wreck**.

2019-11-26 15:27:24 UTC

That or he know beforehand that there will be platform purges for misgendering, or he was afraid getting sued 100000 dollars in New York state.

2019-11-26 15:27:59 UTC

But it's not really honest to support insanity. If you cannot tackle a topic for legal reasons, don't tackle it, don't support your enemy and kowtow.

2019-11-26 15:28:09 UTC

But Tim Pool always kowtows to the crazy.

2019-11-26 15:29:25 UTC

mhm

2019-11-26 15:29:39 UTC

Yeah I can see that
