A man with a degree in animal husbandry is tasked with overseeing Americas nuclear arsenal. <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>
He has a bachelors in science as well, so he has a science degree, specializing in animal science, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know about physics too. To get a degree in almost any field, say neurosurgery for example, you need a basic medical degree as a precursor, and to get a degree in animal science, you'd need biology and physics first
An excellent Trump pick if I do say so myself.
Are you illiterate? It literally says it's the agency's job, not the top guys job
He runs the agency you spastic.
You act as if you have a degree in animal science you are stupid or something. He had to get all the precursor science degrees to get that degree
Another excellent pick, along with the cyber security advisor.
Seriously, he had to take all the other classes
Yes. He is stupid. @everybodydothatdinosaur
the top guy is responsible for picking people who understand the respective fields, not with doing all their jobs
The top guy is the one that is responsible for all the actions of those under him.
"Rick Perry currently serves as the 14th United States Secretary of Energy. He leads an agency tasked with maintaining a safe, secure and effective nuclear deterrent and reducing the threat of nuclear proliferation, overseeing the United States’ energy supply, carrying out the environmental clean-up from the Cold War nuclear mission, and managing the 17 National Laboratories, home to the country’s best scientists and engineers."
There we go.
Your argument is that a guy who graduated with a science degree will know nothing about science
Yeah, and for that, he should be good with people, not with science
> He leads an agency tasked with maintaining a safe, secure and effective nuclear deterrent
Thank you.
Scientists can be giant autists
That is one of the tasks lol
He is managing the nuclear weapons.
who can't be trusted to manage anyone
He is managing people
Yet a majority of the budget goes there. @everybodydothatdinosaur
He personally problably never interacts with nuclear weapons, guys in hazmat suits do
Hence, it can be said it's his main role.
LOL
It's not his main role at all, he's manging the people there
Jesus Christ, no one can say anything bad about your precious Trump can they?
You need to white knight and leap to his defense!
"$2.3 billion to secure energy independence and fund innovations for more affordable, reliable, and efficient energy sources.
$5.5 billion in science funding for cutting-edge research and development as well as state-of-the-art facilities at DOE’s National Laboratories.
$23.7 billion to modernize the aging U.S. nuclear deterrent and stockpile, continue progress at major nuclear cleanup sites, and strengthen grid cybersecurity."
Right, whenever you make a mistake and say something stupid, it must be Trump or us who is bad lol
Saying that having a science degree makes you unqualified in matters of science is stupid
> $16.5 billion for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), an increase of $1.4 billion from the FY 2019 Budget Request, including:
$8.0 billion to sustain and modernize the U.S. nuclear stockpile;
$3.2 billion to modernize aging infrastructure;
$1.2 billion for physical security, information technology, cybersecurity, and other support for the NNSA nuclear security enterprise;
$1.6 billion for nuclear nonproliferation;
$0.4 billion for enhanced nuclear counterterrorism and emergency operations;
$1.6 billion to provide safe and effective integrated nuclear propulsion systems to the U.S. Navy; and
I do not know how good of a pick he is, but it's utterly moronic to measure him by how well he knows particulars of somehting that will be done by his underlings, instead of how good he's at actually managing people.
And saying you need a science degree to manage people is silly
Compared to having someone with a degree in nuclear physics? @leavethisbotnet
He also does have a degree in science
I'd imagine, quite bad.
