I mean
The EU don't want a no-deal either. But sadly the PM has been unable to threaten the EU with one.
The left in your country tied his hands
You're making my point. Even the UK is so far left that free enterprise and basic civil rights are outside the Overton Window.
Also how do you expect to negotiate without no deal as an option? If I go to a car salesman and start with, "regardless of how we haggle I will not leave without buying an automobile" he's going to rape me on the price.
Yall can only blame yourselves for that, lib dem and labour are german shills
Ironically, the conservatives have empowered the opposition through the fixed term parliaments act @Tiberius
All of the Brexit issue comes from that one act.
Where the PM is unable to call a general election due to Parliament needing a 2 / 3 majority to support it.
Thats just your anti-democratic roots speaking
And in action
That's poor Conservative planning in action right there.
I remember Boris was forced to ask for an extension by law... Rushed into existence so he couldn't just wait for the deadline to end it all.
It was mainly a conservative policy.
The queen should just dissolve parliament
Funilly enough in 2017 they ran saying they would remove the legislation if they got a majority.
We have free enterprise? In most fields. @Jym
So they recognized a mistake and decided they want to fix it
Unless you want to teach a pug to heil hitler
Or report the muslim grooming gang next door
Or not get run over by peaceful trucks <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
Meh, they brought in legislation which they should have never brought in at all. Then it came to bite them in the ass and they're looking to remove it after it's hurt them.
The dems did that here
Hows that filibuster removal working for you democrats <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
What's also quite funny is that a majority of the country support some form of proportional representation and more parties are starting to support it. BXP, Lib Dems, SNP, etc. But the big two obviously want to keep the status quo and oppose it.
I mean
Labour and other hard leftist groups all have the same values
Only they should have representation
I legitimately would vote Labour if they supported PR. I would hate the years they're in office, but it would revitalise our democracy in a way that is needed.
Because your country needs blackouts again
The country needs more social spending, it needs nationalisation of some sectors and it needs a change in the way democracy is ran
Hell PG&E are doing it when the wind sneezes
Sounds like commie propoganda to me but okay
We nationalized education
And now have results on par with second or even some third world countries
🤷 Shortages in the NHS come from a lack of funds, water, energy, post and rail need to be nationalised again and PR is needed so we can actually get rid of the big two parties and get some smaller ones in
Break up the big special intereat tribes into smaller ones you mean
Hay! Again... Greatest third world economy. Give California some credit on top of the trash heap.
You'll never get anything done
California gets no credit
Tech and agriculture built california, and more agriculture than tech
