I've only voted twice in my life. First time was Obama in '08, second time was to protest the reelection of a corrupt pedo. The pedo still won.

2019-11-19 02:55:14 UTC

Those blue parts are only blue because of a certain portion of the white people within them that actually buy a democratic agenda or fully dont support a Republican agenda and whatever reason the other demographics vote Democrat for.

2019-11-19 02:55:29 UTC

Which here in northern NJ is most of them

2019-11-19 02:55:34 UTC

And you know why, because look at what they push in their policies

2019-11-19 02:56:04 UTC

To my knowledge, apart from Christie, I can't recall if we've ever been red

2019-11-19 02:57:16 UTC

Even still if you never were it doesn't matter because the demographic arguement still is valid because of the most recent example of Virginia. And the very QUESTION that if texas is going to irreversibly go blue.

2019-11-19 02:57:24 UTC

@Marushia Dark i spent time going to northern new jersey to buy gas and lock parts because it was cheaper to pay the toll than to buy it in brooklyn

2019-11-19 02:57:33 UTC

But going back to my point about race, you said it's cuz of the white people voting Dem, but have you considered that if you can permanently flip 5-10% of the brown vote, we'd be conservative for the next 100 years? And blacks and hispanics are primed for conservatism

2019-11-19 02:58:09 UTC

Yeah, tri-State prices are stupid high. NYC is even worse. Best to work in the city but leave here in the suburbs

2019-11-19 02:58:24 UTC

We're the only State you have to pay to leave. <:thinking_clown:590855640268668928>

2019-11-19 02:59:05 UTC

worse was when i lived in staten island...you have to pay to go home

2019-11-19 02:59:26 UTC

There is no promise blacks and Hispanics will be primed or buy into conservatism to begin with man

2019-11-19 02:59:46 UTC

Ted Cruz and Brandon Tatum would disagree with you on that

2019-11-19 03:00:39 UTC

i actually liked ted cruz in 2016...it was shameful what they did to him in the bronx

2019-11-19 03:00:53 UTC

No those are individuals

2019-11-19 03:01:17 UTC

sorry if i'm not staying on topic...

2019-11-19 03:01:47 UTC

I mean they'd disagree with you about the mindset of blacks and hispanics, arguing that both groups - at least when they have fathers - have an ethic of hard work, faith, and family.

2019-11-19 03:02:25 UTC

prior to the welfare state, blacks were highly conservative

2019-11-19 03:02:37 UTC

*welfare and war on drugs

2019-11-19 03:03:39 UTC

Do I gotta find some red elephant video where Vince James just spells out to you the voting trends for these demographics? Why would black people be beholden to the welfare and take the drugs in the first place?

2019-11-19 03:03:45 UTC

Who forced em to take the drugs?

2019-11-19 03:04:20 UTC

I'm aware of the demographics, but you're not understanding WHY they vote that way

2019-11-19 03:05:48 UTC

> Who forced em to take the drugs?

That's a valid criticism and certainly one I've made, that it's the soft bigotry of low expectations to assume that they can't resist drugs cuz they're black when all other poor folks do; but in a more charitable context, if we agree the issue is fatherlessness, then the war on drugs is not helping in this regard. It's only making things worse.

2019-11-19 03:06:44 UTC

It's all for a whole amalgamation of reasons we could all talk about the nuances forever but the biggest understanding we gotta come to is today. Their families are broken today. They've been voting a certain way for a while. Feeding into a broken promises and a fear Republicans really wont have their backs because of the elitist figure they cast.

2019-11-19 03:07:16 UTC

They vote that way cuz they've been propagandized to believe a certain mindset by the media-political complex, taking advantage of the void left by other institutions that normally instill values (church, family, etc)

2019-11-19 03:08:14 UTC

I literally asked my Indian friend Sabastion from Canada why he wouldn't vote for Maxine Bernier and it was for that very reason. The Republican equivalent represents the elites and not people like him which is foolish in my mind after hearing Maxime speak.

2019-11-19 03:08:17 UTC

But besides that

2019-11-19 03:08:24 UTC

I agree mass immigration is a problem and that migrants tend to vote left, so I agree we need to build the wall and get rid of DACA and all that; but once we do that, then race no longer matters and it becomes about pure merit and let the demo chips fall where they may

2019-11-19 03:10:12 UTC

Unlike the alt-right, I don't care if white people become a minority or even if we all become purple. That, to me, has nothing to do with the ideologies of those who remain and again, to think otherwise - to think race DETERMINES ideology - is racist.

2019-11-19 03:10:16 UTC

Not even then still. It may just be a simple disagreement at that point. But theres perfectly capable white people who go through these college and uni courses that try and get to the same places these Indians and Chinese exchange students come in and literally until the pushback people within the conservative movement were saying to staple the green card to the back of their diplomas

2019-11-19 03:11:44 UTC

I'd like to see smart Indians and Chinese try to fix India and China, personally.

2019-11-19 03:11:46 UTC

The entire question. In the beginning. That makes you say "I don't care if white people become a minority in America" when it's been white people who actually reliably carry the american values to the ballot boxes

2019-11-19 03:12:11 UTC

The apathy tward it is insane

2019-11-19 03:12:31 UTC

Again, who do you identify with more: Candace Owens and Thomas Sowell, or Hillary Clinton and Liz Warren?

2019-11-19 03:13:04 UTC

as you said, plenty of whites also DIDN'T carry that water

2019-11-19 03:14:25 UTC

The SJWs would call those people "race traitors," I believe. <:milkshake2:580842238540775468>

2019-11-19 03:18:23 UTC

None of them because I identify with myself. I don't need someone else to tell me what I should identify with. But I recognize what founded this nation. I recognize the ancestors who upheld it and the people assimilated, idc if they were black or white, red,Mediterranean whatever. 2 thirds of the most immigration that did happen was from white, christian nations and they assimilated easier. mass immigration has fractured the country.

2019-11-19 03:19:09 UTC

Let me clarify, whose values are more inline with yours?

2019-11-19 03:20:34 UTC

Also, you do realize America wasn't purely a white nation, right? The idea of Confederation was built partly on the Iroquois Federation. John Locke was inspired in part by an Arab Muslim scholar. The Founders drew heavily from Egyptian iconography, etc.

2019-11-19 03:20:53 UTC

Not discounting the white contributions, just pushing back that that's all it is

2019-11-19 03:24:08 UTC

You don't get it, it's not just "white contributions" but what "what contributions" evolved into in the very founding of America. And we've gotten better overtime with abolishing slavery but honestly, just my opinion, women shouldn't have gotten the right to vote. Even back then the precedent of it. If you were to poll women who wanted the vote. Black men could have the right to vote sure. You get what I mean?
