remember when everyone laughed at greens for pledging £100bn per year to climate change
b r u h
at least its over 5 years and not per year i guess
@PureEvilPie my most natural guess would be something like "because it's an upgrade from the NHS"
but i don't think that's a good answer
comparing the UK to the US in almost anyway is mostly a false dichotomy
wladfa
American healthcare isn't even better than the UK
yes
But the point is, they are almost entirely run by insurance
but their insurance is expensive
slow
i was comparing the us health care to our nhs
and doesnt even cover everytthing
not saying that it's like our private health care
that's why i said it was a false dichotomy
But our NHS in terms of qualiy
is as good
It's just got wait times
yes, which is why it's a false dichotomy
Im not sure
because it's stupid to even try to compare
you know what the word means
i think anyway
false dichotomy?
Yea
Because you can compare healthcare systems
because that's what the world does, it compares their systems
there are many consistent metrics that you can compare across
price, qualified personnel
ok pep
wait times
it's easily comparable
ok pep
I was reading into the broadband stuff
I think you have a point actually
Most of the infrastructure appears to have been built and subsidised by the tax payers
