The level of excitement I expected from hearing of a new Half-Life game does not equate to the simple confusion I am experiencing now

Half life games were all tech demos

Was wondering when it was gonna happen

We knew they were dabbling with it with the VR lab code they "accidentally" leaked some test stuff in

Only real question was if they had to abandon it or not

Answer seems to be they didn't

HL1 was *not* a tech-demo

and the most tech-demoing that HL2 did was for the physics system

and even then, the game itself isn't considered to be tech-demo

It's fucking season pass, just think rocket league, or whatever...
