That's why you wound them and leave

2019-11-03 17:19:48 UTC

It's simple logistics , nothing evil. Just the cold reality that war is won by having more people left to fight

2019-11-03 17:20:15 UTC

thats idiotic

2019-11-03 17:20:16 UTC

Hmm actually I like that idea

2019-11-03 17:20:22 UTC

wars are won by taking objectives

2019-11-03 17:20:24 UTC

nothing more

2019-11-03 17:20:25 UTC

nothing less

2019-11-03 17:20:26 UTC

Remove a leg

2019-11-03 17:20:41 UTC

remove his satcom

2019-11-03 17:20:47 UTC

and the enemy cant see you

2019-11-03 17:20:47 UTC

Zephyr you just saved hundreds of lives if I ever get involved in a war

2019-11-03 17:20:49 UTC

remove his hand

2019-11-03 17:20:53 UTC

and he cant push a button

2019-11-03 17:20:59 UTC

hasnt anyone else absorbed this?

2019-11-03 17:21:03 UTC

You provide wounds, like gunshots to the arm or leg, that prevent the prisoners from rejoining and fighting instantly, and subsequently need to be treated by the opposing force when they liberate said prisoners.

2019-11-03 17:21:15 UTC

Choping off their arms

2019-11-03 17:21:16 UTC

yeah this isnt the 1910s, dipshit

2019-11-03 17:21:22 UTC

They can't fight if they don't have arms

2019-11-03 17:21:27 UTC

Wait hands

2019-11-03 17:21:32 UTC

its about securing their machines

2019-11-03 17:21:35 UTC

Much quicker

2019-11-03 17:21:47 UTC

yeah well what we do works what you advocate absolutely didnt

2019-11-03 17:22:09 UTC

In fact with simple wounds like leg and foot wounds you could remove even more troops from the front than you would by killing the prisoners, as those wounded prisoners will require multiple able-bodied soldiers to evacuate them.

2019-11-03 17:22:15 UTC

Dystopia, becoming a comedy near you

2019-11-03 17:22:16 UTC

i dont personally care one way or another if the enemy lives or dies

2019-11-03 17:22:27 UTC

i only care where we are and what we are controlling

2019-11-03 17:22:52 UTC

@Zephyr Blackfish removing legs would be more efficient as it means 2 -4 would be needed to carry each out

2019-11-03 17:22:59 UTC

hate isnt the opposite of love

2019-11-03 17:23:04 UTC

indifference is the opposite of love

2019-11-03 17:23:08 UTC

im indifferent to the enemy

2019-11-03 17:23:14 UTC

And they are gone for good without death

2019-11-03 17:23:21 UTC

@Kaiser Pepsi Man but you don't want to be giving the poor sod's a death-sentence; they are POW's, non-combatants.

2019-11-03 17:23:42 UTC

Amputation could prove fatal.

2019-11-03 17:23:54 UTC

Is breaking their knee caps and hands kind enough

2019-11-03 17:24:13 UTC

If you kill POW's when it's inconvenient for you, you reinforce the enemy's will to fight and avoid capture, which could prove even more dangerous.

2019-11-03 17:24:24 UTC

That would probably be quicker as well

2019-11-03 17:24:27 UTC

@Kaiser Pepsi Man I guess breaking hands would suffice easily.

2019-11-03 17:24:37 UTC

But a bullet through the hands would do just as well.

2019-11-03 17:25:00 UTC

See legs with a hammer make it better because they have to drag them and you aren't wasting ammo
