keep in mind, astronomers and physicists still don't even know the age of the universe, what caused dark matter to form, why general relativity and quantum mechanics are so incompatible with each other while separate they are incredibly well tested and accurate.

There is the data where the further we go in space the more "dark" matter prevails over the ordinary one-clear evidence there is no such thing as dark matter but rather we are missing something out about gravity.

And also GR can't solve the rotating body problem where a body rotating with speeds near those of light should have a decreasing radius due to dimension shift but at the same time it can't do tht cause it would jeopardize the result of the equations.
