In my dnd group today, the dm said he's loving it and the graphics are amazing, while one of the players said the graphics are shit

2019-11-16 02:24:20 UTC

Its purely opinion

2019-11-16 02:24:56 UTC

the graphics are just fine

2019-11-16 02:25:14 UTC

but

2019-11-16 02:25:26 UTC

what is the difference between sword and shield?

2019-11-16 02:25:30 UTC

Graphics r trash and that’s a fact

2019-11-16 02:25:34 UTC

Stab and bash

2019-11-16 02:25:35 UTC

my main issue with the game is the characters are bad, the story was bad, the game is ridiculously short, and it's probably the easiest Pokemon game ever.

2019-11-16 02:25:38 UTC

Not a matter of opinion

2019-11-16 02:25:44 UTC

Art style is a matter of opinion

2019-11-16 02:25:54 UTC
2019-11-16 02:25:54 UTC

the art style makes the graphics look worse than they really are

2019-11-16 02:26:16 UTC

if you rush the game, it's about 10 hours long

2019-11-16 02:26:22 UTC

if you take your time, probably around 20

2019-11-16 02:26:42 UTC

huh

2019-11-16 02:26:50 UTC

that's short..

2019-11-16 02:26:55 UTC

for a $60 game that's awful

2019-11-16 02:27:12 UTC

I've played indie games that are longer and more worth my money

2019-11-16 02:27:38 UTC

If you look at pokemon red speedrunning, the no glitch modality can be very comfortably completed in under 6 hours

2019-11-16 02:27:43 UTC

Even by a mediocre player

2019-11-16 02:27:55 UTC

It really depends what you mean by rushing I suppose.

2019-11-16 02:28:05 UTC

rushing and speedrunning are not the same thing

2019-11-16 02:28:32 UTC

there are games that are normally 80 hours long that you can beat in under an hour when speedrunning

2019-11-16 02:28:34 UTC

Still, under 10 hours is a reasonable completion time for Red if you "rush it"

2019-11-16 02:28:36 UTC

your point is moot

2019-11-16 02:28:36 UTC

Brazil bad

2019-11-16 02:28:46 UTC

just... droppin that bit there

2019-11-16 02:28:50 UTC

😃

2019-11-16 02:29:02 UTC

Ok boomer

2019-11-16 02:29:19 UTC

Ocarina of Time any percent is less than 12 minutes, and yet rushing through casually you'll beat it in like 20 hours

2019-11-16 02:29:43 UTC

@excursion12 (redha, richtginger) any percent glitchless or glitch?

2019-11-16 02:29:54 UTC

what do you think

2019-11-16 02:29:58 UTC

Thats an important question. Glitches mean huge skips

2019-11-16 02:30:01 UTC

it uses Wrong Warp

2019-11-16 02:30:10 UTC

Then that is not a good comparison

2019-11-16 02:30:20 UTC

speedrunning in general is not a good comparison

2019-11-16 02:30:40 UTC

Its like comparing the time of SM64 0 Star speedruns with 70 star speedruns

2019-11-16 02:31:32 UTC

bruh, if your game is $60, I expect a casual playthrough to be at least 60 hours

2019-11-16 02:31:41 UTC

that's industry standard by this point

2019-11-16 02:32:09 UTC

Depends how much replayability and post-completion stuff there is tbh
