And better eggs
for sure
when i was in hawaii, we used live pigs for combat first-aid training and PETA was at the base gates protesting - was all over the news
the pigs were given anesthesia so they didnt feel anything
Oh really? What did they do exactly ?
we did tracheotomies, learned how quick-clot once their femoral artery was cut, bandaged shot wounds, various other procedures, i was able to keep my pig alive through a good deal of wounds and damage
So it was using them as a way to learn how to deal with common injuries?
the tracheotomy procedure was amazing - the pig was losing breath - i was able to use my gerber knife to cut through its throat and give it an airway
yeah, training was so realistic
Well it does make me sad but at least if they couldn't feel the pain, that's better than nothing
they didnt feel anything - but their anatomies are really close to humans
That's interesting
I could never do it myself
I can't even hurt a bug
But for some reason, hurting a person would be easier for me
it was a stressful day for alot of us for sure - the femoral artery part was grueling
Well . I already did but lol
Idk
I look at animals and small creatures like babies & children , so I can't hurt them
But people, it's different
for sure, my daughter has that same love for animals
Aw nice. I was gonna say I feel like it's more in a womans nature as well
she wouldnt even shoot a deer
Our highest purpose is to create & nourish life after all
Yeah I couldn't, even if we were going to eat it after
she said she wants to be an animal lawyer
haha
They do get the short end of the stick alot
Esp these strays
I saved a few
Nice
cats are bad for the environment
I wanted to be in an animal care profession
That or a secretary, flight attendant, or therapist
Ah then all the more reason these idiots should stop putting their cats on the streets
I'm passionate about the stray cats esp
I really want them off the streets
they kill birds without the purpose of eating them
Yeah they're predators
They eat alot of insects
