you confuse me making sure you know your place with me being angry

2019-11-10 02:31:07 UTC

cute

2019-11-10 02:31:13 UTC

My place?

2019-11-10 02:31:48 UTC

Tywin's probably one of my favorite characters, honestly

2019-11-10 02:31:49 UTC

not sure why merlin is so defensive

2019-11-10 02:31:54 UTC

^

2019-11-10 02:31:55 UTC

then read the books

2019-11-10 02:31:58 UTC

he is so much better

2019-11-10 02:32:26 UTC

books typically ARE better; don't think we disagree with that

2019-11-10 02:32:39 UTC

im talking to the guy who likes hte hbo series mananimal

2019-11-10 02:33:19 UTC

the only good thing from the series is putting real faces to the characters names

2019-11-10 02:33:20 UTC

you can't compete with the ability to develop a character through back-story in the way you can in a novel

2019-11-10 02:33:26 UTC

thats about all i use when im reading now,

2019-11-10 02:33:30 UTC

even if you did have an unlimited budget

2019-11-10 02:33:44 UTC

oh i cou;d

2019-11-10 02:33:52 UTC

its just film makers have no idea how to conceptualise shit

2019-11-10 02:34:03 UTC

I'm not even disagreeing that the books are probably better. I wouldn't know, as I never read them and likely never will. My interest in fiction is what I can learn from them spiritually and practically. Towards that end, if I can get "good enough" lessons from someone that takes less time to consume, I prefer that.

2019-11-10 02:34:04 UTC

those aren't mutually exclusive

2019-11-10 02:34:08 UTC

its all loud noises and flashing lights to amuse gibbering stupid kneeling cunts like Marushia

2019-11-10 02:34:10 UTC

false duality

2019-11-10 02:34:35 UTC

you never gave an actuyal reason for not reading them

2019-11-10 02:34:40 UTC

you only validated my stance that you should

2019-11-10 02:34:41 UTC

no one can do with film which can be done with imagination in a novel

2019-11-10 02:34:45 UTC

just not possible

2019-11-10 02:34:49 UTC

I literally just did: TL;DR

2019-11-10 02:34:52 UTC

it is

2019-11-10 02:34:54 UTC

look at kubrick

2019-11-10 02:34:56 UTC

sure, you can do alot BETTER than the shit they have today

2019-11-10 02:35:07 UTC

but even kubrick couldn't match the book

2019-11-10 02:35:23 UTC

when it came to the shining he delibratly gave stephen king the4 middle finger

2019-11-10 02:35:24 UTC

kubrick has nothing on Arthur C Clarke

2019-11-10 02:35:30 UTC

that blue car wreck at the begining/

2019-11-10 02:35:33 UTC

thats the car fropm the novel

2019-11-10 02:35:49 UTC

were tlking visual media here fuckwad

2019-11-10 02:35:50 UTC

again, some things you can approximate

2019-11-10 02:36:01 UTC

but when it comes to character development
