How often it gets discussed makes me think it is the worst event in human history. Rape of Nanking and other brutality by the Japanese on the Chinese at the same time as the Holocaust is something only I bring up. Nobody talks about it.
@Deleted User those are things you learn about in school, at least at my high school we learned about Japanese occupation of Korea and China, and the great Soviet Famine, and the Indonesian and Cambodian genocides.
So public school systems do require you learn about more than just the Holocaust, but like I said the other events were not shown to world to the capacity the Holocaust was, and there wasn't as threatening of a example of democracy turned facism in recent history
