solar flare thats powerful enough could vaporize the atmosphere on the half of the earth that is facing the sun
causing the rest of the atmosphere to be totally uneven and fucked up. eventually we'd all die due to starvation... suffocation... and etc.
at any point these 2 things could happen
for the solar flare scenario we'd have 8 minuets. we'd see the sun flash very very bright.. and then 8 minuets from the flash the energy would hit us because it takes about that long for light to travel from the sun to earth <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
@Tiberius I remember way way back in Highschool in my Geology Class we separated into teams one team was find evidence man made interference in the atmosphere the other was to find evidence of why man is not the cause. I got the Man is not the cause when, at the time, I believed we were. I asked to be changed on teams and was told no. So I went out of my way to actually look for something and even try to discredit it. But my arguments about that and how the percentage of green house gasses from cows was extraordinarily high was the convincing factor that we aren't the biggest cause. My team won even when I was on "the stand" and explained how humans did in fact contribute and my entire side got upset, but then went on to explain how cows and volcanos especially put out more than all people in our life times in out bout.
