China's margins have shurnk massively in the past 10 years for manufacturers
Like 20%-7% kinda shrink
It setting to the point its becoming much less worth it
You wanna beat China, neutralise their population advantage
A large pop just becomes a burden if they have nothing to do
Makes sense
I didn't know automation had hit that level and cost-effeciency already
Id give you some specific examples ive done but im kinda bound by NDA
and you never know who is here
what kind of jobs can't machines do yet? what ones are going to take the longest to automate?
I'd assume they can do just about anything, but the complex tasks are expensive
Ones that require more abstract thought
Like Engineering
writing the software the machines run on?
Yes
Stuff like that
You're talking loading/unloading
palletising
assembly
Welding
well once they automate programming we're all fucked anyway
I work in online ecommerce - platform provider UK and EMEA market. UK still leading the world.
They're already doing that
Most likely will be like cloning Crafty
*To an extent*
Will be off limits
Machine learning is getting to that stage sa well
Incase anyone was worried about people shopping
I expect certain tasks will be off limits to AI
Of course they won't @Joshu
They will
Commercial machine learning is still pretty blind
We have done it plenty
they're having trouble keeping war off limits to AI, so forgive me if i am skeptical lol
Cloning for one
We dont have weapons in space
true
Companies will do anything to maximize profits, maintain competitiveness
Just cos something can be done doesnt mean it will
Theres no AI that powerful yet in commercial sense
