I'm bretty bad at maps. So I admire cartography
well ill take that as a compliment
It's allowed here Mikey and you know it <:smugon:512048583806025739>
Some early phase sketches I've done myself
@Basil Thin your fucking paints and if you are gonna use a spray primer hold the can about a foot to a foot and a half from the model.
Also what type of brush diversity do you have?
Dark Heresy Characters
Wow you took everything that was cool with DH and made it uncool
Oof. Here my black crusade mini. This will help you
These character were from an Acolyte campaign, though one of them went on to become a daemonhost of slaanesh.
@MS What kind of glue did you use? It looks like it might of been a bit too thick when you put the arms on since I see some got on the edge of the chest plate. I've got a few recommendations. With the new chaos kit I've found them to be easier to base paint before putting them together. You should consider using a fine detail brush for the areas around the joints and the eyes too.
But a good start though 👍
Yeah I tried to keep the glue thin
And the arm placement is tricky due to the parts used
That's why you want to put the glue on the torso instead the arm
Dark heresy, d&d, VtM what could be next?
The Dark Heresy stuff just lacks alot of the visual style that 40k is.
what is the 40k visual style?
GrimDark Heavy Metal Gothic
Uuuh
What could I do to make the dark heresy characters I drew fit the 40k visual style more?
IDK I'm not really an artist just popped my head in
ay, I wasn't even really asking you, thanks for responding though.
Mainly that was directed Larks and MS. Mostly because apparently my art was uncool and lacked the 40k visual style, and I honestly want to know, if that's the case, then what can I do to improve it?
