Hey TMONEY, whats your ideology?

2017-07-07 11:53:54 UTC

Anarcho libertarian.

2017-07-07 11:54:02 UTC

Like ANCAP?

2017-07-07 11:56:29 UTC

Anarchy is inherently libertarian

2017-07-07 11:59:16 UTC

anarcho capitalism strikes me as an odd philosophy, since it wants to hark back to an imagined time when capitalism was free

2017-07-07 11:59:41 UTC

but capitalism is capitalism or it is something else

2017-07-07 11:59:53 UTC

Haven't looked into that so I can't say. But my main stance is that we don't need the current body of government or elected leadership anymore. I’m defining government as a coercive entity that plunders wealth by force, and redistributes it on projects of various kinds, from infrastructure and bribing voters, to war and weapons of mass destruction.  We need to blockchain program the lawmaking system, which could eliminate corruption. Police are needed. Self interest will take care of roads etc. Public ownership pools for roads in neighbourhoods.

2017-07-07 12:00:07 UTC

in fact the term is a vexed one--what does it refer to anyway?

2017-07-07 12:01:49 UTC

Anarcho-capitalism is better than capitalism with a state.

2017-07-07 12:02:24 UTC

Local government can choose between different kinds of police forces instead of being stuck with the default one

2017-07-07 12:02:31 UTC

People can forge new ones

2017-07-07 12:02:41 UTC

@Dontkillmyvibe the coercive force of the government is decided by the social contract, that the people agreed to, so we need to find out what the people want to do with the government, and whether it is accountable

2017-07-07 12:03:11 UTC

if not then change is possible, but direct democracy, ie communism, is the same goal

2017-07-07 12:03:15 UTC

people are too stupid to know what they want or need

2017-07-07 12:03:25 UTC

in ancapism, what stops Mcdonalds from creating McMilitias and invading Africa and enslaving africans?

2017-07-07 12:03:45 UTC

@gronkt that's a counterproductive argument that will land you in the gulag

2017-07-07 12:03:49 UTC

mob rule you get a pack of idiots looting and too lazy to work

2017-07-07 12:04:05 UTC

2017-07-07 12:04:28 UTC

McDonald might make McMilitias

2017-07-07 12:04:44 UTC

Right. Government was made to directly serve UNDER the people. I feel like the system has strayed from that. My main point is using technology to put the power of the body of government DIRECTLY in the hands of all citizens. Online

2017-07-07 12:04:49 UTC

But so would Burger King or Walmart

2017-07-07 12:04:57 UTC

They'd all fight

2017-07-07 12:05:13 UTC

Survival of the fittest

2017-07-07 12:05:16 UTC

Etc

2017-07-07 12:05:34 UTC

Survival of the McFittest™

2017-07-07 12:05:43 UTC

But, it's obvious something needs to be there to organize those laws. It's complicated

2017-07-07 12:05:45 UTC

At least you could actually kill the bastards if you wanted to enough

2017-07-07 12:06:19 UTC

@Dontkillmyvibe"Right. Government was made to directly serve UNDER the people. I feel like the system has strayed from that. My main point is using technology to put the power of the body of government DIRECTLY in the hands of all citizens. Online"

When companies start offering protection if people follow their rules and pay some of their money to them <:bour:313709044957315082>

2017-07-07 12:06:42 UTC

And we have this technology.

2017-07-07 12:06:51 UTC

Then you'd have to regulate the internet. The only source of anarchy we have left.

2017-07-07 12:06:53 UTC

direct democracy is the goal of revolution. JOIN TODAY

2017-07-07 12:07:18 UTC

2017-07-07 12:08:35 UTC

deadly

2017-07-07 12:08:51 UTC

@reprehensible that system would regulate itself. By using the computer you vote from to mathematically analyse other votes and track it in a ledger. It's blockchain, which can be programmed to do this.

2017-07-07 12:09:29 UTC

Block chains are easy to track though
