@Gavroche I have different ideas. I think authoritarianism is needed in Europe. Only temporarily. Anarchism is possible, but it will never end well.

Could agree, depends of what you do with that authoritarian power. I'm a big advocater of enlightened despotism. But you will always face opposition, so it would end with repression leading to death of a lot of people. It's not serious nowadays to think that kind of power can be established, espcially in western Europe.

You'd need a person who's pure of heart for it to work. Those people are extremely rare, hence why dictators are almost always corrupted and evil. Europe is dying at an alarming rate, and the people have been brainwashed into becoming decadent, self-loathing clowns. Leftists aren't bad people but I feel they're making things far worse.

In France (my country) for example, the president is more powerful than any other "democratic" country. This role was created for a man of power, a man of letters, a man with a vision, full of integrity and all the qualities we can imagine for a leader, it was designed for the Général De Gaulle. No one since the general has managed to fit perfectly into the role of this super-president.
I think such a man comes once in a century, you can't create a political establishment with the idea that only one man every century will succeed in leading it.
