The individual is almost nothing. Self-interest is crude and superstitious.
But to survive is our most basic purpose
People will never become drones
I will listen to you but I do disagree
Survival depends on more than the individual.
Our species is just a temporary stage to transform into something else, if it even survives to see it.
To hold onto the false nothing of self-importance against the greater forces of change, will only make it more difficult for you to accept.
But what about you, do you want to be a practical slave to an ideology
Will you die for communism
You seem to come in strong with your preconceptions. If I am a slave, it is to material forces, which shape who I am and who everyone else is.
Choice has nothing to do with it.
What do you see as an ideal society
I reject ideals.
Ok
What about the right to persue happiness
Hey wanna voice chat
I don't know what any of that means.
No.
Ok
That means that one has the individual right to persue something for themselves
Don't you want something from life
You view life as something you have to extract something from. You should question where this concept really comes from. All we can really do is live our lives, which is largely predetermined.
I know it is but we all have the right to attempt to change that. And you have to do something in life to help yourself and others
'Rights' are just babble. We are shaped a certain way, and that's that.
Don't you believe in freedom, in nature there are things you cannot take away speech and thought to name some these are rights
Freedom is not scientific. So no.
All are free in nature
That's just empty idealism.
Do you believe as an individual you have rights
No.
He is but a meager slave
:^)
I have no Master I don't like big government
If you are not a slave to the material world, feel free to demonstrate your power through various miracles. I'll wait.
I live for my species and my self not for ideology
"Species" and "Self" are pretty strong identities - ideologies.
Do you own anything
Ownership is just an abstract condition. Legally, sure, I own things, because a piece of paper says so.
You put 4 sticks and some string on the ground, and apparently write it down, and according to social contract you 'own' it.
