2017-08-15 20:33:13 UTC

No

2017-08-15 20:33:44 UTC

Don't be rediculous

2017-08-15 20:34:16 UTC

Tarps are pretty gay. Just get a tent.

2017-08-15 20:34:34 UTC

I personally love pitching tents whenever I cam

2017-08-15 20:34:35 UTC

Hey a tarp is effectively a feminine tent

2017-08-15 20:34:42 UTC

Therefore making it less gay

2017-08-15 20:34:58 UTC

Or does that make it more gay

2017-08-15 20:35:11 UTC

Now I'm conflicted

2017-08-15 20:35:12 UTC

It still has poles tho that you have to drive into the ground

2017-08-15 20:35:21 UTC

Pretty gay tbh

2017-08-15 20:41:01 UTC

retards lmao

2017-08-15 20:42:28 UTC

And nothing of value was lost that day

2017-08-15 20:42:44 UTC

tfw confederate statues serve as a history and reminder to not let atrocities such as slavery happen again

2017-08-15 20:43:45 UTC

it was a good thing the statues were there because it allows people to reflect on history and as to make sure the same path is not repeated again

2017-08-15 20:44:01 UTC

the lefists that are tearing them down are fucking idiots

2017-08-15 20:44:08 UTC

Arguably

2017-08-15 20:44:27 UTC

Statues are typically build to worship and remind of the past in a positive way

2017-08-15 20:44:47 UTC

By your logic libtards should have erected Hitler statues in post-war Germany

2017-08-15 20:44:51 UTC

You dont build statues of nazi soldiers to remind us of the past

2017-08-15 20:45:00 UTC

Smh

2017-08-15 20:45:01 UTC

>lenin statue in seattle

2017-08-15 20:45:12 UTC

lol

2017-08-15 20:45:53 UTC

I mean they dont make a good case for themselves when they try to beat up the statue

2017-08-15 20:46:17 UTC

```
Initially installed in Czechoslovakia in 1988, the sculpture was removed after the Velvet Revolution and brought to the United States in the 1990s.
Lewis E. Carpenter, an English teacher in Poprad originally from Issaquah, Washington, found the monumental statue lying in a scrapyard ready to be sold for the price of the bronze; Carpenter had met and befriended Venkov while in Czechoslovakia. In close collaboration with a local journalist and good friend, Tomáš Fülöpp, Carpenter approached the city officials with a claim that despite its current unpopularity, the sculpture was still a work of art worth preserving, and he offered to buy it for $13,000.[1] After many bureaucratic hurdles, he finally signed a contract with the mayor on March 16, 1993.
```

2017-08-15 20:46:46 UTC

The statue pretty much exists because some artist went statue dumpster diving

2017-08-15 20:47:01 UTC

@Deleted User the statues can just go into a museum problem solved

2017-08-15 20:47:18 UTC

Not because Seattle worships Lenin in any way

2017-08-15 20:47:24 UTC

@Valtiel thats a great idea, bu they shouldnt be taken down and discard

2017-08-15 20:47:46 UTC

@Deleted User and its not like Charrlotesville worships the confederacy either

2017-08-15 20:48:02 UTC

@Deleted User no they shouldn't and those people will be charged anyways.

2017-08-15 20:48:30 UTC

Charlottesville is a pretty chill but expensive college town. My cousin goes there for med school

2017-08-15 20:49:01 UTC

Don't get my wrong, I am just playing devil's advocate by saying it's not stupidity that motivates tearing down these statues

2017-08-15 20:49:07 UTC

Yeah Charlottesville is really calm

2017-08-15 20:49:14 UTC
