What does them being around for decades suppose to prove exactly?
That they are an old group?
What has the far right done in response? Hardly anything. Mainly just complain on the internet.
It means that your 'remains to be proven' comment makes no sense. Silly right wing always holding out for a future that will never come.
While true, people aligning to the right wing often are discriminated against for their views, which leads to a downturn in attendance for rallies, protests, etc.
Seems like a PR problem.
PR, while I hate to admit it, is valuable, though with todays media calling even the most moderate and stale forms of right wing belief's "Nazism" and "Hate speech", it is hard to get around.
Donald trump's presidency is a pure example of that.
How many times do you hear people accusing his cabinet and himself nazi's and fascists?
This is a part of the strength of leftist politics. They know how to push their agenda into the public sphere.
That goes as a double edged sword for them, as the ideology will begin to decay, as more outlandish and impractical idea's are given more popularity.
Lots of right wing commentators are sperging about the 'evil antifa' but little do they know this is part of the a dialectic which promotes them. Antifa is in the street and the public recognises this far and above basement dweller rightists
Marx himself hated social democracy, and yet we are seeing more and more of them.
It's all apart of the process. Marxist analysis recognises many players. This would excite all kinds of leftists as indicators of social tension and change.
It is quite an interesting phenomenon in reality, as time progresses, we have seen leftism become more and more outlandish and strange as time goes on.
What do you mean, 'outlandish'? By whose standard? Be careful of confirmation bias.
One of antifa's greatest accomplishments: Normies used to be afraid to call out BLM for being violent. Now that we have antifa as BLM's white counterpart, normies can recognize antifa as terrorists, and by extension they can also admit in public that BLM are too violent.
You wish.
@Deleted User Well what I mean, is that new belief systems will be spawned as time progresses, and almost every time, the new belief system will tolerate or promote policies that ones before would not.
I have anecdotal evidence to confirm this, namely my normie facebook friends.
Emphasis on beast, lol.
Sure.
I managed to find a screenshot which sums it up quite well.
Even the Washington effin' Post made an article about antifa violence. The normies are coming around.
@discordian#3213 It's all full circle now.
Are they? Let's see.
At least Antifa can be shown to be doing something. This forces attention and increases public awareness of it.
No article found about that when checking their main twitter.
The /pol/tards appreciate antifa's efforts. They see it as accelerationism leading to gas the kikes, race war now.
That's a theme I noticed a lot. Blind hope in a future that will never happen.
I agree that it probably won't happen, because the radical left will collapse on itself as brother attacks brother in the oppression olympics.
WORLD REVOLUTION IN 2 MONTHS GOY
Oh boy. Can you put any more memes in that sentence? It's pure speculation. The concrete reality is that the right have no presence outside the internet.
@discordian#3213 Meh, I did not see it when I checked their twitter with a word finder.
Sure they do. They're the normal people who aren't shouting in the streets except on very rare occasions.
Right wingers are usually the silent type, not the whiners.
They only form rallies when they get really mad. The left by contrast is always mad.
Is it possible that trump was correct about his "silent majority" claim?
Possibly, seeing how almost every county in the US voted for him except those in big cities and the counties neighboring them.
