I used it as an example of stability. It was just an offical territory in Muslim lands which lasted the longest. If Islam was so warlike as you say, it would not be able to sustain offical territories.

They were very much warlike, it just depends who would be ruling them at the time, and what cirumstances were within the empire at the time.

By the time that the 20th century came, the ottomans were clearly destabilized, with their infrastructure, military, and political system being a complete mess.

Before you call the fall of Ottoman Empire such a victory, need I remind you than since its fall Sunni Islam has become the largest religious denomination in the world? It survives even western imperialism.

Ottomans held many Islamic views within its borders. But the modern explosion was not possible without the protection of its borders in the world.

My point is that when you think yourself so mighty the Islamic faith has dominated the minds of the world.

None of these things have been able to out-compete the explosion of Islamic conversion in the world.
