yeah earth life is very adaptable
And earth has only been around for 4.5 billion years.
yup life can survive in very shitty conditions
so perhaps we arent seeing what is right infront of us
but its probably microbal
talk to @Deleted User about this hes very intrested in space
That is quite an interesting question, if life on earth formed shortly after (In astronomical terms) after earth collided with a mars shaped planet and absorbed it, leading the earth to become nearly as hot as the sun, then how was life able to form during that time?
it cooled down
and there are bacteria that survive in similar insane conditions
there called extremophiles i think
i could be wrong
if we ever reach space
maybe we could look for similar life in extreme conditions
its probably not concious but hey
During that time, it is likely that earth still had a giant hole inside it and looked like it was dented, and the moon most likely was a giant ball of flames and asteroids at the time, how would life be able to form during this time?
who knows
every planet we reach is dead
weve only ever been in our solar system
and we cant directly see other planets
if we found intellegent aliens tomorrow what would you do
thats not an alien
thats a tardigrade
the only creature that has survived in space
and had kids
in space
no oxygen
and it can survive in any climate
its virtually immortal
life that can survive on any condition is possible and its creepy as hell
there is life at the bottom of the ocean
@Deleted User Mhm.
The issue is food.
life eats other life
and chemicals
the planet may have had alot of the chemicals necessary
Space is a big place, you are going to have to stick around a long time and travel big distances to find food.
true
hmm we could build a farm
