@Donitz But, look at it from the prospective of the US looking in on the events, if there was a remote possibility that the scientists working in the camps made discoveries, then woulden't you want to utilize the discoveries for your own country? Take the autobahn for example, a series of highways constructed by the reich to transport their vehicles and troops across the country quickly, the US blatantly ripped it off when constructing their own highways after the war, and got most of their info about it from the reich, for the purpose benefiting their own country.
