In Transnistria or Pridnestrovie as they call it there lives mainly three groups of population, Russians who I believe make the majority (he was one, kinda like the people of the Kaliningrad enclave), Ukrainians who are close in numbers to them and Moldovans who still write their language using cyrillic (which is extremely blessed).
Transnistrian politics is dominated by two political parties, communist party (conservative), and the other communist party in opposition to them, which sometimes wins.
