My Little Pony is the highest expression of U.S. cultural superiority
Mueller basically said that he's not going to decide whether there is innocence or guilt because his special counsel is not the proper method to decide that. People should be innocent until proven guilty, and there are legal proceedings that can and can't be done with a sitting president, regardless of their innocence or guilt. It would be unfair to the defendant for him to suggest guilt if the defendant can't currently have a trial to determine innocence or guilt.
Mueller is a good guy
He is frustrating to democrats probably because they hate people that won't engage in dehumanizing their opponents
So you wasted all that time on this, and no conclusion. gj
wasted money too
Mueller's job was to collect evidence. It's up to checks and balances to decide a conclusion.
There seems to be some bipartisan opinion that evidence showed enough probable cause for a full impeachment inquiry. There certainly are biases either for investigating or forgiving Trump. Both sides have their conspiracy theories, and that's why unmuddying the waters with evidence is important.
The problem with the president being accountable to politics is that post-truth affects accountability.
People misinterpret postmodernism from a self-serving lens and it led to this version of post-truth. A more generous interpretation is supposed to recognize the perspective of everyone else. Then from a post-postmodern lens, actual truth can be discovered.
It's like a CSI investigation where there are things and places investigators didn't even think to look for without interviewing witnesses and getting their perspectives, even though witnesses rarely agree with each other 100%.
Post-postmodernism is like how base 10 is a social construct, but the underlying math is true.
There is not bipartisan support for an impeachment inquery
Also idk what you mean by "after truth affects accountability". That doesn't make any sense
I didn't say truth, I said post-truth.
So you know nobody here is an actual communist
I actually didn't know that, but I didn't expect them to be common.
There are a number of philosophies that make the Left what it is. Also people on the Left are more likely to use their cingulate gyrus more.
Am I supposed to care
What do you care about? In what way do you seek excellence?
You weird bro
You said post-truth, I just replaced post-truth with after-truth. It is a simplified wording that *should* mean the same thing
If it doesn't mean the same thing then it is a made up term
I mean that In the sense that someone took random words and threw them together rather than having the meaning based on the phrase
Honestly postmodern just means future to me. Post modern would mean after modern. It is a nonsense word anyways
As in a post-apocalyptical story is *after* the apocalypse
*Post mortem* means after death
I wish people would stop using these nonsense words
It's not like post as a prefix has any other meaning
That's because you are looking at the dictionary definition of modern, and not looking into the body of philosophical and artistic work called Modernism.
Derrida is probably more post-phenomenologist than post-structuralist.
Anyway I'm referring to this.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-truth_politics
"Post-factual politics" affects accountability.
Oh fine
Anyway, Mueller even said in his press conference that it was a necessary investigation. All investigations by law enforcement cost money. It looks like there is enough evidence to impeach for obstruction of justice if there is enough political will to do so. Why is there is so much public opinion that the investigation was a sham?
I personally don't think impeachment is a good idea because it is divisive. I just hope people take this information into account when they vote. Do most people believe that the ends justify the means?
