But you get the tools from people who supplied them to you in exchange for currency, be it gold, silver, or bank notes, meaning that the tools themselves would be produced and supplied privately, and really, there is nothing wrong with that.

Infact, the US actually used gold as a currency, up until roosevelt STOLE it all.
