South africa was not third world, it was a industrial and agricultural powerhouse, at least in africe. not to mention the rare earth resources which is the reason for its destabalization. with out south africa africa will have issues as they will stop getting the goods needed to sustain many things. South africa is the provider of these goods. With out it africa is falling in tio a crisis
