There were a lot of Successful African empires like the Ashanti, Benin, Kongo, Great Zimbabwe/Mutapa, When I talk about African history I tend to talk about the Non Islamic ones

I don’t know what it’s called but it’s a ceremonial sword that’s held by the king

They used bows, shields, swords, spears and later on, Guns
