Well HEMA is full contact so we can grapple with the opponent, we use metal swords but they are not sharp, and we read from texts created during the renaissance as a base for it

I do longword mostly, and that is the main thing taught in class, but we have used Spears, rapiers, and dusaq(a cutlass like blade), tho only occasionally
