Between 5,000 and 10,000 volunteers collecting signatures every day
Estimated 92,000 signatures collected per week, with deadline for petition March 17.

1,495,709 signatures necessary to trigger special election, however they must be verified addresses. Numbers are very promising in terms of the verification rate.

It is the largest petition drive in nation.

Party affiliation:
31.5% of the signers are non-Republican voters.

The leaders of the recall drive said that they cannot endorse a candidate for governor with the structure of their political organization at this time, but they did say that they would restructure their organization to be a more general political group, and endorse a candidate at that time.
