2021-02-03 02:07:52 UTC

2021-02-03 02:08:06 UTC

Not going 🍏 period

2021-02-03 02:08:44 UTC

well u could get an hp but i do know apple would be considerably more reliable

2021-02-03 02:09:05 UTC

hmmmm what about a chromebook?

2021-02-03 02:09:48 UTC

I hear ya. Even if I was open to Apple (which I'm not), the ppl who need it don't/can't learn a whole new OS

2021-02-03 02:10:00 UTC

oh right

2021-02-03 02:10:05 UTC

how old is it

2021-02-03 02:10:09 UTC

Was thinking about that.

2021-02-03 02:10:20 UTC

if u looked into an hp those typically are pretty reliable

2021-02-03 02:10:25 UTC

i run a decade old dell as a daily driver with no problems, even for (extremely) light gaming

2021-02-03 02:10:33 UTC

Maybe 2/3 years. Paid around $300

2021-02-03 02:10:50 UTC

wtf? thats not old at all, how expensive can a charger + bat be?

2021-02-03 02:11:10 UTC

some machines are built crappy

2021-02-03 02:11:13 UTC

i got a 130W compatible Lattitude charger and battery for my Inspirion N5110 for 25 bucks combined

2021-02-03 02:11:35 UTC

Around $50-60 together I think. But the device has other problems. Doesn't cry to the internet properly...

2021-02-03 02:11:55 UTC

thats dell for you

2021-02-03 02:12:02 UTC

yeah mine crys properly

2021-02-03 02:12:08 UTC

i have a dell mobo in my main pc and it is the most tempermental thing there is

2021-02-03 02:12:28 UTC

So what do you suggest? Hp?

2021-02-03 02:12:33 UTC

yeah

2021-02-03 02:12:42 UTC

i wanna say build your own but obv not gonna work for laptops

2021-02-03 02:12:51 UTC

i mean u could

2021-02-03 02:12:54 UTC

thinkpads are also really good

2021-02-03 02:12:55 UTC

or just get a nuc

2021-02-03 02:13:03 UTC

like REALLY good if you get a nice one

2021-02-03 02:13:06 UTC

😂 😂 😂
I meant connect.
Damn autocorrect

2021-02-03 02:13:06 UTC

it depends

2021-02-03 02:13:12 UTC

lol ur fine

2021-02-03 02:13:26 UTC

definitly, there are some shet models

2021-02-03 02:13:55 UTC

i have a lenoto t400 from 2008 and it still has the original battery which works great and it runs windows 7 fine

2021-02-03 02:14:01 UTC

*lenovo

2021-02-03 02:14:25 UTC

but i do think an hp would prob be urbest bet

2021-02-03 02:15:20 UTC

hp, i never used one but i know a friend has one, something amd a9, it works alright, but pretty toasty if you play minecraft on it

2021-02-03 02:15:27 UTC

it runs hotter then my decade old dell

2021-02-03 02:15:44 UTC

Thanks guys! Any suggestions are appreciated!

2021-02-03 02:16:20 UTC

Don't plan on gaming at all. Maybe some light photo editing down the road.

2021-02-03 02:17:11 UTC

he edits video on it with only a few problems, and its like the worst model that HP offers, so if you got a better one it will edit photos with 0 trouble

2021-02-03 02:17:46 UTC

yeah if u plan on doing simple tasks go for a middle end laptop

2021-02-03 02:18:11 UTC

yep if you can't handle the weight of an older lapto

2021-02-03 02:18:34 UTC

bcuz for basic stuff a oldie with 8gb ram + ssd with new battery = beast
