No gaming or editing
and maybe upgrade the storage to 1tb
Not going 🍏 period
well u could get an hp but i do know apple would be considerably more reliable
hmmmm what about a chromebook?
I hear ya. Even if I was open to Apple (which I'm not), the ppl who need it don't/can't learn a whole new OS
oh right
how old is it
Was thinking about that.
if u looked into an hp those typically are pretty reliable
i run a decade old dell as a daily driver with no problems, even for (extremely) light gaming
Maybe 2/3 years. Paid around $300
wtf? thats not old at all, how expensive can a charger + bat be?
some machines are built crappy
i got a 130W compatible Lattitude charger and battery for my Inspirion N5110 for 25 bucks combined
Around $50-60 together I think. But the device has other problems. Doesn't cry to the internet properly...
thats dell for you
yeah mine crys properly
i have a dell mobo in my main pc and it is the most tempermental thing there is
So what do you suggest? Hp?
i wanna say build your own but obv not gonna work for laptops
i mean u could
thinkpads are also really good
or just get a nuc
like REALLY good if you get a nice one
😂 😂 😂
I meant connect.
Damn autocorrect
it depends
lol ur fine
definitly, there are some shet models
i have a lenoto t400 from 2008 and it still has the original battery which works great and it runs windows 7 fine
*lenovo
but i do think an hp would prob be urbest bet
hp, i never used one but i know a friend has one, something amd a9, it works alright, but pretty toasty if you play minecraft on it
it runs hotter then my decade old dell
Thanks guys! Any suggestions are appreciated!
Don't plan on gaming at all. Maybe some light photo editing down the road.
he edits video on it with only a few problems, and its like the worst model that HP offers, so if you got a better one it will edit photos with 0 trouble
yeah if u plan on doing simple tasks go for a middle end laptop
yep if you can't handle the weight of an older lapto
bcuz for basic stuff a oldie with 8gb ram + ssd with new battery = beast
