*I Despise* was something I figured Redbird October might be interested in, given his poetry.
https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLt-E6hUDlI-ymzG3LIr-DzA5w8FaCDPGJ in case your interested, here is a longer list of songs I like. I have like a dozen version of this with different songs, so that I don't always have the same playlist on a loop, but it covers a lot of what I am into.
idk who that is.
Redbird?
yes
He's on this server an awful lot, you can usually find him talking crypto currency in *economics*.
He used to be a math teacher. Really cool dude.
ahh neat.
I'll have to check out econ sometimes
I pretty much just bounce betwenn music, guns, and prepping. I need to diversify. xD
Yeah, no, I hear you. I usually just chill in Writers-bloc, Faith & religion, and Guns.
I was surprised that nobody yet linked THAT: https://youtu.be/koO35JqBQMI
oh nice, is this a new one?
Fresh one...
played this real quick because why not (also if i mess up a lot its because i get nervous when i record myself playing stuff)
Ok I'm gonna bring it back to meme chat
It's important to note the genre and pacing, because both wildly change expectations. Any lyric can sound good provided proper delivery. With that said, it depends how verbose you want it. Is it a rap? Or a melody? And what is the subject? One general have suggestion is to try to keep it short and sweet. That should make everything roll off the tongue easier in theory. Lyrics speak from the heart, so it would be best practice to not muddy them. I say to try and make every line quotable (in a sense)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K91qwxCWmrs Sharing with the server because it's my all time favorite song. It's loud and it's metal, so be warned. @sixfivebyfiftyfive @Mister Meower @RedbirdOctober, CBP
I know it's just a short meme-video, but maybe someone could help me find a longer version or similar stuff on youtube? Thanks already if someone is able to help me out:)

ya know what is that? 😄
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it
no problem. This song was part of history of my country. we really hated it 😉
had to listen twice its so good!! 😍
thanks bro
laughing my ass off with this song
@Cinnamon_Roll237 This is actually great advice, regardless of genre, your lyrics should tell a story. It's best just to get down what you wanna say before caring about being poetic or rhyming. That way you can get the story across without missing the point or every 2nd line sounds like it's shoehorned in just to create a rhyme then develop it to be more "poetic" and keeps it to the point. Also very verse should progress the story/point, protects it from sounding like rambling or being aimless. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE REST! Keep going you will only develop as a songwriter by experimenting ❤️
Thank you ☺
Thank you as well ☺
