and heres what i came up with
dank riff bro. Puts me in a good mood!
I've been listening to Cryptic Writings more recently, and at a higher volume. Safe to say it's not as light as I remember, but its cleaner production gives is a bit of that vibe. Lyrically the album is quite poignant albeit somewhat off beat. The whole album looks to be an unappreciated gem. Worth a solid listen, but not overly stunning at first glance
One of my favorite albums is Pink Floyd's The Wall. Roger Waters vocie sounds great on it.
Yeah
I also like Rogers’ albums. My favorite song from him is Amused to Death
Any fellow Beatles diehards out there?

If you ever wanted a good collection of classical music, here's one amazing collection from a video game - https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbfwvyy3ES185BvczGHxE1Lza8qHG3Rck

Susan Boyle, I was worried at first and I was judging her on what she was wearing that she may just be an untalented person with no voice. God I was so wrong and I'm glade I was. She is absolutely amazing.

most modern day pop music is lazy
same i think the reason people didn't like was because they were trying to take a new direction
same with risk and world needs a hero
Each one of the albums between 1997 and 2001 has a different direction. In fact, Cryptic Writings is bipolar in my view. Half of the album is constructed similar to Youthanasia (She-Wolf, The Disintegrators, FFF, etc.), and the other half is constructed similar to Risk (Trust, Almost Honest, Use The Man, etc.). Risk is 100% "The New Direction" while Cryptic Writings is 50% "The New Direction." The 2001 album honestly feels like a spinoff, at least compared to the rest of 21st century Megadeth discography. It has the commercial style, personal lyrics, and modern sound thiccness. One might say it's a redux of Youthanasia. I like the album, but it wasn't impressive from the outset. Just like Youthanasia, you quietly build respect for the album. As for Risk's direction, I don't know if making it legitimately heavy stuff would help. Ironically I like the song 'Ecstasy' but others like 'The Doctor Is Calling' are too wack. Risk is a mixed bag at best, and Megadeth certainly didn't have the commercial establishment to make it sell. That's my two cents anyways <:Dude:726878886411108474>
yeah
